Tika Northington PMHNP

Tika, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Grace Mental Healthcare in Colonial Heights, Virginia. She provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals across the lifespan—from age 5 through 99—with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and life transitions.

With a strong clinical foundation that includes experience in cardiac surgery, pediatric surgery, and pediatric mental health, Tika brings a well-rounded, medically informed perspective to psychiatric care. She is especially passionate about supporting clients through every stage of life, including women’s health concerns, postpartum changes, midlife transitions, and retirement adjustments, while also offering thoughtful, judgment-free care to men seeking support for emotional wellness and stress management.

Her approach blends medical expertise with a warm, collaborative style, helping each client develop an individualized treatment plan aligned with their goals, values, and lifestyle. Whether addressing medication management, coping strategies, or long-term mental health support, Tika strives to empower clients toward stability, confidence, and balance.

Alana Chaffee, PMHNP

Alana, is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who provides compassionate, patient-centered care in outpatient psychiatric settings.

She brings over a decade of experience from high-acuity nursing roles, including intensive care, emergency medicine, and procedural radiology. Alana earned her FNP from Simmons University in Boston in 2019 and later pursued a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Liberty University, completing her PMHNP certification in 2021 after discovering her passion for mental health care.

Alana partners closely with patients to support their mental health goals through evidence-based treatment, thoughtful medication management, and genuine support. She has called Chesterfield home since 2020, where she lives with her husband, three children, and three dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts and family adventures.

Pamela Brown, 
FNP-C

Pamela is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and has over 20+years’ experience in the healthcare industry. She has worked in skilled care nursing facilities, outpatient Endocrinology clinics, Primary care and Obesity Medicine. Pam received her Associate of Science degree from Prince George Community College as an RN in 1999. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Liberty University in 2011 and Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in 2018. She is AANP board certified. 

She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Obesity Medicine Association, and serves as an Affiliate Professor (Preceptor) with the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Nursing. Pam is passionate about helping patients achieve sustainable weight loss, improve metabolic health, and effectively manage chronic disease.
